  • Star Wars: Rogue One Movie Review

Well folks, it's time for us to set out on another hyperspace adventure to... a galaxy far, far away. Disney's next Star Wars installment Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is now out in theaters for our enjoyment.

I'll do my best to keep spoilers in that "far away galaxy", however I will drop a BIG one for those of you who don't know much about the Star Wars timeline, sorry. Rogue One slots itself in the timeline some time after Episode 3 Revenge of the Sith and just prior to Episode 4 A New Hope. Not sure how it ties into Disney’s Rebels TV series, if at all.

As for Rogue One, the plot is well written and flushed out. The character development was extremely well done and does a wonderful job in how it moves you to feel about the people in the film.

As for the visual effects and CGI they were well done, well used and played a supporting role to the actors, in their own right.

The only problem I had with the film is that it was a bit on the over-hyped side for what we actually got to see. The only other area I didn't particularly care for was the way the movie wrapped itself up and simply left it at that so as not to give too much away.

All in all I give it:

As for where our next adventure takes us, only time can tell.
